On more than one occasion I have seen wild parrots at the intersection of Metric and 183 here in Austin. Once I saw them grazing in the grass on the Goodwill side. Today I saw three green parrots on the power lines and trees on the other side of Metric where the auto parts store is. It reminded me of the ones in San Francisco.

We go near that area often - I'll keep my eyes out. Kreig fields down south austin used to have a lot of wild parakeets or parrots - I can't remember which.
